Yin Yoga has its origins in Taoism. It is a contemplative practice, based on softer, slower floor postures held for longer periods of time.The practice offers deeper access to areas of the body rich in connective tissues, allowing greater flexibility and relaxation. It is the ideal practice for those who want to release tension and dedicate some time to themselves during the working day. It is a great complement to the practice of mindfulness.

NOTE
There is the possibility of combining Yin Yoga classes with Ashtanga Yoga classes.
This combination gives our body the balance and exercise it really needs and therefore we recommend it.

TEACHER
Francisca Schouten has been practicing Yoga since 2004 and began teaching in 2014 in the Netherlands, having trained 200 RYT with several teacher trainings in the Netherlands and Belgium. In 2015 she began to teach at Budadharma.
